Laughin' Place is a two-Story Ocean Front home on the Creek with one deck and two screened porches.  Laughin’ Place features three separate living areas so large groups of people have space for privacy as well.  Main floor has living and dining room combination, kitchen, 4 bedrooms, and 2 baths.  On same level is a 1 bedroom suite with bath and separate living area.  The upstairs apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room and kitchen.  There is a crab dock in the creek and a catwalk on the roof.  

Sleeping Areas

To help you plan your visit, Listed below are the bedrooms and the types of beds in each room. 
Linens and towels are provided.  Maximum occupancy:  17

·         South Beachfront Bedroom - one queen size bed

·         South Middle Bedroom - two twins, one set of bunk beds (sleeps 4)

·         North Beachfront Bedroom - one queen bed

·         North Creek side Bedroom - two twins, one trundle

·         Creek side Suite – King Bed

·         Upstairs apartment –North bedroom – Queen Bed

·                        South Bedroom – Double bed

The Creek side Suite

On the main level is a suite with separate entrance - perfect for grandparents.  A beautiful bay window gives a great view of the creek.  King bed, bath and living area

Upstairs Apartment

Upstairs, is a completely self-contained apartment with two bedrooms, bath, small kitchen and living area.  This area can be rented separately during the “off season”

CROW'S NEST

We hope you will enjoy the only overlook on the south end of Pawleys.  The views are breathtaking and the stars magnificent.  Please keep a close watch on young children while enjoying the catwalk.

 Pets

Due to allergies of some of our family members, we cannot allow pets anywhere on or about the premises. Unauthorized occupancy of pets where prohibited will result in immediate eviction and loss of all rents and security payments

Where to Relax

At the Laughin' Place you will find many areas to rest and relax.  Enjoy your morning coffee on either of the screened porches overlooking the beach or the creek.  Or enjoy the sun on the beach side deck or the catwalk.  When the sun gets too warm, retreat to the areas under the house -- underneath the deck on the beach side or on the bricked living area on the creek side.  Fishing or crabbing is great fun for all on the creek dock.  There's plenty of room to relax inside as well, especially if you decide air conditioning is a necessary part of your relaxation!  Enjoy puzzles and games in the three living areas.  There are also TV and cable in case you just have to have a TV fix!   Wireless Internet Access is complementary. 

Directions to Laughin' Place

748 Springs Avenue, Pawleys Island, SC

U.S. 17 to Pawleys Island. 

Take the South Causeway to Pawleys Island (1st Pawleys Island traffic light).  After you get on the island turn South (right).  Any opportunity you have to turn towards the beach, take it.  (There are two roads, it doesn't matter which one you take).  Keep going South towards the end of the island.  We are 10 houses from the end.
